Minecraft 1.6 is now live!

Now available with horses, carpet tiles, coal blocks, and more.
Also with a new launcher!

I'm totally loving the coal blocks and carpets. ^o^ It's been a long time coming, I hated not having at least carpets before! Besides that, the horses are really fun, I won't have any problems finding a village now. They work extremely well too, and don't get caught easily on obstacles at all, the glide is really smooth.

Horses? Meh, I just wanna know if they fixed cats not being tamable  

And who knows, maybe we could meet up in-game sometime too?

A friend of mine has a server running (new world), bukkit is not updated yet. So better ruff it.

What is bukkit, anyway? Most of the info on the Internet is pretty confusing to me.

Also, having some terrible memory leaks on Java's end for me, so I can't play until I figure out what the problem is. Minecraft should be running better than it did with the Redstone Update, so something's definitely up.

Bukkit is a special server mod that allows you to use plug-ins.

Oh. O: I had no idea plug-ins were possible with Minecraft. That makes sense now.
