Nice to see it finally coming to life after one long year.

This is looking really nice, Skye.  Loving the transition effects and Shantae's face changing upon hovering over certain elements, you've got a lot of cute personal touches going on here. Can't wait to see what you fill the other sections with too.

We'll be sure to advertise this on the Fans Portal's Tumblr once it goes live, and it's a nice thought to link to us here in the community section. We could even add a forum category portal, (Like with the IRC channel) that leads back to your site too. This is motivating me to update the forums' theme some more, if I can think of anything to improve.

Off topic, I'm still trying to find the font you're using... ^^;

And ShantaeVocaloid, to answer your question the official Shantae font is a free one called "Jewels". Mr. Bozon told me this one day when I asked him about it.

This looks really nice, Skye. So glad your website is live and ready for viewing. Ah, those good ol' nostalgia feelings from fansites during the 90's, it's all coming back to me!

Keeping this in my bookmarks now, and I'll plug this on the Fans Portal's Tumblr as well. Once again, nicely done, man, I'm loving all those neat little touches in the site's interface. And it's great to see comprehensive information on the series there too, especially the Shantae GBA proto vids.

We'll be sure to keep tabs on your channels, Tekaramity. And I'm proud of these forums too; the activity's been very nice lately because of the Shantae kickstarter.

Oh, same Mr. Luke (or, should it be "just" Luke? XD I never can tell, online!), very pleased to be here & will be happy to cooperate with you folks anytime. We're all part of the Shantae family! No one site or hub trumps any other; each is very valuable in its own purpose. "If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." ~ Phil. 4:8 (I'd venture that suits the mindset quite well! ^0^)

Skye has stated that he never intends to set up a forum there; this place has been around much longer & deserves to remain free of senseless competition. All in this together, eh? =) So it's sort of an unofficial affiliation, much like both sites' unofficial affiliation with WayForward themselves - all unified toward the goal of celebrating our favorite half-genie.

Besides, Shantae.net is the 'newbie' site - this place is the sage gatekeeper of the community, and I know it's highly valuable to you & everybody else who frequents it (hoping that'll include myself, over time). Hence why it's prudent to harmonize rather than compete. The last thing the Shantae fandom needs is in-fighting, elitism, or division - nope nope, keep that forever away.

It's Luke, (Although I am mister-luke on Tumblr!) the dot's just to stand out.

After seeing some of the silly things people have argued over on the Half-Genie Hero Kickstarter page, yeah, competition isn't anything either site needs. I remember Skye wanting to setup a forum there before, but since the Fans Portal's forums are already established, there was no need, so he linked to us instead. I think there might be room for a sub-community at some point, though, once there is a larger community of forum-goers here. I want to do everything I can to keep the negative elements away from here.

Suggestions for Shantae.net would be much appreciated, as a PSA. Chatted with Skye recently & he's hoping to spruce up the place so that it attracts more than just flies.  Anythin' you'd like to be included there, feel free to suggest! - within reason. X3 No requests for real-life Shantae Laser Tag! Although it'd be 100% amazing.
