Howdy, folks!

Howdy, everyone! I've only got a few minutes, so let's make this short and sweet for now. I would say I'm relatively new as a Shantae fan. Got into it when I was looking for games on my 3DS and Risky's Revenge caught my eye. There's a lot I like about the series (which I imagine you'll hear all kinds of details about over time), but the biggest thing is just how much effort they put into the games. I'm surprised there aren't more fans, and I'm always excited to try to attract more people to it.

I like a lot of different game series (too many to list right here, but most of them are Nintendo series) and I tend to think a LOT about what makes them good, what works, and what can be improved. Hopefully that'll lead to a few interesting discussions here.

One more random fact about me is that I'm a computer programmer. If I end up working on any projects related to Shantae, I'll be sure to let y'all know.

Yeah, I too got only into Shantae recently. About one year ago, to be precise.
And I still feel stupid that I didn't get to know it earlier. >.<
(Then again, I live in Germany. So I wouldn't have been able to get the original anyways. D'OH!!!)
I too try to attract more people to it. In hopes to build a big, solidary (and reasonable) fanbase in the long run.

Good good. Especially the latter part is important. Constructive criticism always helps and is necessary for a game series to come closer to perfection.

You know, I've been using variations of that as an avatar and persona for so long, I forgot it originated from VG Cats. I'm not exactly a fan of it, but the guy knows how to make some cute drawings.

And don't worry, I'm not much of a Ponyboy. Maybe more of a Sodapop, if anyone happens to catch that obscure(?) reference.

Last I checked out their comics, (Must have been years ago!) VG Cats wasn't half-bad, but only a few of them made me laugh out loud, admittedly.

Oh, and Google instantly turned up a guy named Sodapop Curtis, if that's what you meant. =P I'm pretty sure I'm wrong though, if it's that obscure of a reference I don't understand. xD

Well, I'll be darned. I didn't remember the last names, but that was it!
That's probably one of the few times in my life I'll get to make a reference to The Outsiders like that (good story by a good author, incidentally), so why not?
