Shantae Poetry

One of the old official Shantae / WF sites back in the day had some user-submitted limericks as part of a contest.
Which gave me the perfect(?) idea for a thread: Shantae poetry!
Here I figured we could let loose with whatever words of tribute are on our minds.

When all seems lost for a small town in need
and desperate cries form a call which to heed
a guardian girl with a lavender lock
will dash into action along the old dock
where pirates dare tread as they scurry and sneak
their leader stands tall while a smirk hugs her cheek
the guardian girl soon catches her sight
with which sets the stage for a most risky fight

That's a cute poem, Nai. ^^ Never been one for poetry myself though, I suck at limiting myself to rhymes for wording whole sentences. ;___; I can write, but not like that! XD

So I have nothing to contribute, sadly.

A Zombie Shanty

Oh, in dusk or night
Prepare for a fright
If you should sight our Caravan

'Cuz there's one lass here
Who will grab your rear
And pull you near our Caravan

She's always a tease, and rude as you please
Long as she's around you can't be at ease
Watch her closely as she runs through the trees
But beware of what your eye thinks it sees

She travels down roads
Where ill tiding bodes
Thievery loads our Caravan

Now you're in a bind
You've been left behind
How will you find our Caravan

She's kind of obsene, and acts like a queen
And odds are she took a bite of your splean
But even if she gets a little mean
She's the cutest Zombie you've ever seen

My turn...

There once was a piress named Risky,
who was feeling a little bit frisky.
She stole relics, she schemed,
took an engine which steamed,
but defeated, drowned tears in old whiskey.

Well, that was neat. Now I wanna write a shanty about Risky Whiskey.

That actually sounds awfully similar to the winner of that contest I mentioned in the original post.
