Let's Play Shantae: Risky's Revenge

I finally got my hands on the equipment I need to do a Let's Play of Risky's Revenge! I've seen a few of these done before using a camera placed over a DS screen, but this one is a direct capture, so the video quality is pretty nice (and is HD to boot)!

I know that embedding videos can be rough on slow connections, so let me just add the first video here, and I'll link to the rest.



When this is done, it will be 10 episodes total--8 normal episodes and 2 dedicated to gathering secrets. I'm keeping two YouTube playlists, one with the secret episodes and one without.

I'll have to give this a watch later myself, since I've only played bits and pieces of the game so far. (Don't have a 3DS yet.) Your voice is really well recorded as well, so this is one LP I'll actually watch with the commentary left on!

And you have a playlist without secrets? Wow, that's really nice for anyone who wants to find all that stuff themselves, or just watch the secrets they're stuck on, it's perfect.

All in all, this is golden!

Wow, thank you! That feels like pretty high praise!

It looks like the only roadblock I'm going to have as far as finishing is getting the final episode up. I've got a busy extended weekend planned and a little extra setup at the end, so there might be a week or 10 days between the second secret gathering video and the final video. Not the worst thing in the world since I got most of it up in one weekend. (Besides, I'll make sure the final video is worth the wait!)

Sorry if I worried you with my disappearance too. I got a bunch of contact info up on my profile, so you'll never get rid of lose me again!

Yeah, I was pretty worried about your disappearance, but I'm glad you've kept yourself busy. ^^ And you're welcome, uploaders need to know their work is appreciated.

And now seeing as it's finished, I'm going to go download watch the whole thing while I draw! I like watching stuff while I sketch in GIMP, it keeps me more engaged than just listening to music sometimes.
