Year of Weegee Retrospective
Can't believe there hasn't been a topic about this yet. ^^;
Happy December, everyone! Seeing as how the Year of Luigi is coming to a close, I'd like to know how everyone spent it!
What I did:
~Bought Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and the retail version of New Super Luigi U (the latter purchase I sort of regret doing)
~Played a bunch of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (since that's pretty much all I play nowadays), this time in preparation for Smash 4
~Created quite a bit of characters, including one in particular who's a Luigi fangirl
~Cosplayed as Wreck-it Ralph for Comic-Con 2013
...and some other stuff I can't remember. ^^; Not necessarily in that order, of course.
How'd you spend your Year of Luigi? And as a side note, if you have Super Mario 3D World, are you enjoying it at all? If you don't have it, what are you looking forward to doing in it? I'm personally looking forward to playing as Peach~

Re: Year of Weegee Retrospective
I didn't know it was the year of the Weegee. I can't remember the last time I played as Luigi in anything besides a Luigi's Mansion run for my little cousin earlier this year. I also got to play some of Dark Moon's harder missions for my cousin as well; it's a rock solid game, and Luigi's running animation is absolutely hilarious.
Re: Year of Weegee Retrospective
If you ask me, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team was the game that helped me reassure that this is in fact the year of Weegee, and was my main means of staying keen to the green. It's everything I enjoyed from Bowser's Inside Story taken to the next level with a load of Luiginary goodness. I've always liked the style, humor, and charm past M&L games have brought forth, and yet something about navigating the dream world and bowling through enemies with a big ball of Luigis never ceases to amuse me
...that's about it, eheh. I know it's a big milestone, but I'm too laid back to really make a fuss about celebrations in general

Re: Year of Weegee Retrospective
Now that I look it up, I'm amazed the year of the Luigi was an official thing. They're saying it won't stop in 2013, I think there is more in store for the famous plumber's brother next year.

I, um.... I dropped the ball on this. Sorry Luigi. ;w;
To make up for it, I present without further comment:

Ah, those videos are practically ingrained in the Internet. There's always next year too! The more Luigi, the better.

^ It is a highbrow worldview that exalts spaghetti in such steadfast resolution. -salutes-
And at least it no longer "sucks to be Weegee" - well, unless it does? No way of knowing unless he informs us directly. O.o'
