What kind of manners did they teach you?

I have written another journal entry on dA, open for discussion, as always.

But then, I am even more interested in what kind of manners they have taught people, since apparently there seems to be quite some differences between cultures.


Another thing I have been taught, personally:
When you have a problem with someone closer to you, like a friend or a family member or someone like that, turning your back to the person and preventing any and all conversations is the WRONG thing to do.
Since that doesn't alleviate the problem at all. In most cases, it even intensifies it!
The only thing to alleviate the problem between close people, is to actually talk about the problem and find a solution together.

Kind of an additional detail to the journal post from above.


But yeah, this tends to be even worse for me, who deeply values any and all online-friends and it always hurts if someone close just cuts all ties with me altogether.
It is never pretty... *sigh*

But I digress...
Back to actual manners.
