Guestbook Section online!

I have now added a "Guestbook" section, where guests can post, leave their thoughts, get in touch with the members and maybe get comfortable with the forums before registering.

Be sure to check out the special guestbook rules.
Tho I am sure they will still get updated later.

Differences in writing style doesn't really matter to me, but the smiley in the forum's description is a little jarring. It kinda strikes me as over-patronizing, so I think the forum would look more professional without it.

Anyway, I'm not too sure how this thing is going to work, but setup is reasonable, so it's worth a shot. Although if we get enough human spam bots, or trolls, a list of banned IPs is going to grow pretty huge. I remember one small community I used to know got rid of their Guest forum because they didn't have the time to monitor it for constant spam.

If it comes down to this, then we will remove it.
Depends on the rate of abuse it gets.

Given our size, it's not something I'd expect, but we'll be prepared for it none the less. Only if it devolved into a backdoor for abuse and spam would either of us need to lock it away in the archives.
