Forum Staff Downsized

Given our small size, and the recent lack of activity for the most part, we have downsized our staff. Until we need more people keeping tabs on the forums again, it's just me and ShantaeVocaloid on the Administrator team. Everyone else are either Contributors or Retired Staff.

Two of our staff members have also been inactive for some time, so that was a potential security risk by policy. Here are the following members given the Retired Staff rank. They are always welcome to hop aboard again.

Oh, whoa, I just noticed this topic. I was gonna ask about the two people I'd never ever seen around here! Guess you'd answered this question right around the time I first thought of it. Nice preemptive action, there.

'Tis a shame even PC didn't carry in new members on its sails. =/ Who knows if HGH will, either, but this place isn't bad at all - merely quite quiet. A welcome respite, regardless. ^^

Yeah, touch-death never posted here once. It's a shame we don't have much activity here, although it's easy for me to assume that the roughness of the early years on these forums might've shied a few people away. (And I think a lot of people were waiting for WayForums to happen anyway.) Seems to be a fairly common issue with new communities, as everyone either grows with each other and forms bonds, or fragments the main forums into sub-communities on new message boards.

So color me surprised the latter didn't happen. Thankfully, it didn't stay like that for long, and I've created a staff-only archive for posts that don't meet community standards. (Not that we'll go around burying away posts we don't like, of course. It's specifically for trashing topics that go horribly wrong.)

Maybe we'll get some new blood again eventually, when Shantae gains more of the limelight for herself, or a little fan game scene spawns. In the meantime, it's not discouraging me from keeping the place open and friendly for everyone that's already here.
