Who are the most DETESTABLE video game villains?!?
Villains that make you hate them so much through the atrocities they commit, possibly up to the point where you will like to enter the game and dismember them Super Saiyajin-style.
Here is my personal list:
Ein and Evice
Game: Pokémon Colosseum
I didn't play Pokémon XD, so I have no idea how the story of Team Cipher goes on.
But even still, the plot of Colosseum got be the darkest plot out of all Pokémon games.
(Minus the plot-bit of Pearl/Diamond, where the leader actually got close to DESTROYING THE FREAKING PLANET!)
What Team Cipher does to the Pokémon in this game is just beyond cruel. Stripping Pokémon of their free will and turning them into mindless killing machines.
And IMO, they all deserve to die for this.
But Ein and Evice would be top priority. Why?
Ein is the scientest who is responsible for this. And Evice is the secret leader and someone who manipulates everything behind the scenes.
And both are sadistic and megalomaniac scumbags.
It even got to so far, that they ordered your female partner to be killed, just because she can see the difference between normal and enslaved Pokémon.
I know that the game never showed any signs is a possible killing. But come on, this is just common sense...
Porky Minch
Game: Mother 3
Mother... One of the best obscure Nintendo franchises. And yet one of the best.
Porky was introduced in Mother 2, as someone who had violent parents, who constantly violated and abused him.
Of course, this was heavily censored in the American-port of the game (aka Earthbound).
He eventually becomes an evil, childrish mastermand and Giygas' right-hand man.
Porky disappears after Giygas' defeat, not to be seen again.
And he reappears in Mother 3 as the primary antagonist. And this is where his true cruelty shows.
He abuses animals, turning them into robotic slaves, oppresses whole populations, kills Lucas' mother and brother, the latter is rebuilt as cyborg and Porky's mindless slave and Lucas is forced to destroy him in the final battle.
The worst thing is, while you do get to fight Porky, at the last moment he chickens out and seal himself into a totally indestructible capsule.
While he is sealed in there for eternity, it still is extremely frustrating that you didn't get to kill the bastard. Ugh...

Kefka
Game: Final Fantasy VI
I think it is obvious why he is in here.
This guy is a freaking PSYCHOPATH, who torments and kills just out of pure enjoyment.
That's right, he kills because it is fun to him. Nothing more.
And eventually he even obtains godly powers and turns the whole world into a wasteland, killing most of the world's population.
The real bad thing is that he doesn't even spare women and children. And the game doesn't even hesitate to show their deaths at his hands.
Dimitri Rascalov
Game: GTA IV
This guy is a scumbag, who, like Niko says, "betrayed everyone whoever came into contact with him".
What is so twisted, is that he is actually been introduced as a rather nice guy, who has an extremely violent friend, who kills everyone that pisses him off.
Eventually, that friend pisses off the wrong people and they put a gun on Dimitri's head, forced him and Niko to kill that friend or they would end up dead.
But that all turns out to be a ruse and Dimitri's true nature is revealed at last.
Dimitri and his russian gang continue to hunt Niko throughout the game.
He kills, betrays and murders without hesitation. Not the most evil guy maybe, but one that pisses you off regardless.
Lekain
Game: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
Seriously, Oliver was nothing compared to this power-hungry bastard.
Lekain already was in "Path of Radiance" (the predecessor of Radiant Dawn) as a minor character. In which it turned out he was responsible for Laguz-slavery.
But in Radiant Dawn, his atrocities go much MUCH father.
He manipulates entire nations, enslaves laguz, puts a curse on Daein that kills its population unless it does their bidding, kills and murders without hesitation and even manipulates the goddess in the end.
He is the Hitler/Stalin of Fire Emblem. A power-hungry scumbag, who stops at nothing to get that power.
You do get to kill him at the end. But it kinda makes you wish that this game would've included FATALITY-like animations, just to make his death so much more satisfying.
Ah, but what can you do?
That is all from me...

Re: Who are the most DETESTABLE video game villains?!?
Fawful, Mario and Luigi RPGs
Always wanted to punch the guy's wickedly creepy piano teeth so hard he forgets to bleed. That little **** **** **** was such an annoying troll through the whole trilogy that I imagined watching him literally die in a fire quite frequently. Very convincing as a villain considering he brought out those kinds of emotions in me.
M. Bison, Street Fighter series
Seriously, this guy has screwed over so many people during the course of his life, (Like killing Chun Li's father, nearly killing Cammy and giving her amnesia, destroying T. Hawks tribe, etc.) that it comes back to bite him in the arena. (I like to think Street Fighter easily started that trend with fighting game villains.) Totally enjoyed pounding him to the floor every time, especially when the AI would constantly abuse his special moves. Too bad everyone lets him off with a "I'll let him wallow in his defeat forever.", it would not have been completely unjustifiable to introduce a MOAB to Bison's face because of the vile things he did to their families.
Kai Leng, Mass Effect 3
Felt the same way about that guy as with Fawful. His overconfident smirk, dishonorable tactics, and consistent, disruptive trolling through the story made me want to punch him into a soupy stain on the floor with strings of flesh (Or what's left of it.) forming a smiley face on top, like bacon n' eggs. So glad you get to kill him, that guy was asking for it. My feelings against him are dark and maybe a bit scary, but he's another convincing and believable villain for the tally. Not one bit charming, relateable, or endearing, (Which villains can be sometimes.) but Kai Leng plays his part.
Xearo, Quake III Arena
I swear, it's like this one specific bot near the end of the game can see through freaking walls! No time to aim his rifle needed; as soon you're spotted, bam, it's over; you're a smear on the floor unless you make it the armor spawns. Took me forever and a lot of luck to defeat him on Hardcore mode.
Nasty Gnorc, Spyro the Dragon
Seriously, this guy manages to trap every dragon in the kingdom in crystal, turn all the gems in the royal treasury into monsters, nearly destroys everything, and when the time comes to finally fight him, he runs away from you and taunts like the incompetent little chicken **** he is. I wanted to do more than ram his keister into next Tuesday!

Re: Who are the most DETESTABLE video game villains?!?
Just to add on to this: In the sequel, Pokemon XD:Gale of Darkness, it's discovered that Evice was never the Cipher Boss to begin with. Rather, he was subordinate to a man named Greevil.Paragon-Yoshi wrote:Ein and Evice

Greevil did Evice better and corrupted Lugia to the point of being completely(?) unpurifiable. Unlike Evice, however, he realizes his failure at the end of the game and surrenders peacefully to the police.
