Zelda Wii U games!

So it's official. Nintendo has made my day! Not only did they ALREADY announce the new Zelda game for Wii U, but they've shown a sneak peak at their HD Wii U remake of Wind Waker!

Since the topic was posted twice, I removed the second one.


And yes, sounds like good news.
Let's see what they will make of it.

Oh man I heard about this a few days ago, I so want this to happen! YES PLEASE NINTENDO SHUT UP AND TAKE ALL MAH MONEYZ. I was originally butt hurt with Wind Waker back when I was a teen, (Mostly just with the ending, and the dreaded Triforce Quest.) but overall it's too great of a Zelda title for anyone to pass up, and in HD form too? Instant want! Hopefully they'll add improvements too, and maybe replace the Triforce Quest with actual dungeons; even mini-dungeons would be much nicer. Either way, I would order this with a WiiU as a must-have whenever I'm able to buy a used unit.

I do believe a little bit of extra content may be included. Two of the screenshots have Link and Tetra hanging out together in the market area of Windfall Island. I don't recall this scene ever being in the original game, though it may just be a screenshot taken to show their HD models.

And yes I agree on the **** Triforce quest. That useless scavenger hunt made me stop playing for months. It was only by my pure force of will to finish the game that I went back and dealt with it. Naturally it was back to being amazing afterward, but still... Quite possibly the most annoying quest of any game I have ever played. I HATE IT THAT MUCH.
