I swear I'm one of the most active Shantae fans on this forum, both on- and offline.

Or...maybe that's Paragon. Hard to tell.

You shared some Shantae-related news with Paragon before even he knew about it, so yeah, you're likely the proud title holder of Most Active Shantae Fan! =P (Speaking of which, I've been trying to see if I could add custom titles below user ranks, and I'm sure you guys would have some fun with that.)

Back on topic, this is great that somebody finally posted a playthrough on Youtube, I've been dying to see what the game's like in person! When I get the chance to finally buy and play Risky's Revenge, this will serve as perfect reassurance in my purchase once I get around to watching it all. xD (Not that I doubt RR will be a waste of money, I just want to know what it's like before playing it myself.)

While I'm mostly just satisying my curiosity here, I usually only watch videos of games just to see if they play as good as they look in their screenshots; I don't like wasting money on poorly built games with choppy framerates and clunky physics. (Some professional reviews fail to mention any of that.) Even non-commercial/open source/freeware games hold themselves to better standards than that, so I expect a decent effort from professional games. Quite sad how most of the games I own are first-party because of that reasoning, but it's better than hurting my eyes in-front of 90% of the half-finished slop I see in Gamestop's pre-owned section, ugh. ;_; The last time I bought a game was Pokemon Black last year, and I will always continue to hold out for the good stuff, like WayForward's Shantae games! =P

I simply noticed he had uploaded it 5 minutes ago while checking up on this board, so I figured why not?

I've always enjoyed Mr. Road's other playthroughs too, and thought he deserved a mention here on the board anyway
for those who may not have checked out his other stuff.

He's done walkthroughs of other games too? (Shows how much I know! =P) I really should check out his channel, might just subscribe to his page for prompt notifications on new stuff like this from him. ^^

I only have myself to blame for that one. Yes, it's all my fault! Now even Shantae has been ponified.

What evil have I spawned? ;_; If that wasn't not bad enough, I'm even thinking about ponifying Zero Suit Samus. =P

I watched the first video of Brickroad's Let's Play of Risky's Revenge and I do have to say he's just naturally good at doing Let's Plays.

Though, it seems to lack the charm the original Let's Play had, mostly because he wasn't that familiar with the game (even though because of that, the thing extremely long.)
